The Weidemann family has been acknowledged as innovators and early adopters of new technology, wining various industry awards. Andrew has held a number of senior roles in the agriculture sector in the Victorian Farmers Federation (‘VFF’) and as Deputy Chair of the Birchip Cropping Group (‘BCG’) – one of Australia’s first farming systems groups. He currently serves on several Federal and State committees developing strategies for RD&E (research, development and extension), and for markets and trade. Andrew is currently the Chairman of Grain Producers Australia. In June 2020 Andrew was awarded as A Member of The Order of Australia Medal (AM) for services to the Australian Grains Industry.
